How Scoring Works

Guess early, score more

Each question starts with just a portrait and category. You can guess right away or reveal clues first — but each clue lowers your potential points. The person's name is only revealed after you guess.

Wrong answers cost you half the potential points for that stage.

Confidence Wager

Before each guess, set your wager to multiply the stakes. Higher wagers mean bigger rewards — and bigger penalties.

Timeline Bonus

After a correct answer, you can play a bonus round — guess the person's birth or death year using a slider. The closer you get, the more bonus points you earn.

You can always skip the bonus round with no penalty.
